Do you have a conference, workshop, or event you are planning on organizing? VCSR is happy to consider sponsoring events that relate to the Center’s mission of helping people think better about religion and strengthening our community of scholars.
Please make requests for funding well in advance of your event. It is ideal to send requests at least one month in advance to ensure the request is processed properly. To be considered, all requests need to be sent at least two weeks before the event.
If you have an event in mind, please email our graduate assistant, Nicholas Shrum. In your e-mail, please include the following information: the name and nature of the event, time, attendance estimate, budget, and specifically how VCSR funds will be used. If VCSR funds are intended to pay honoraria, we will need names for the proposed recipients. Our committee will review requests and provide a timely response.
