In her research and teaching, Kathleen Sprows Cummings explores the history of women, Catholicism, sanctity, and American religion. She will be speaking on the University of Notre Dame’s Gender, Sex, and Power project, which considers the Catholic Church’s sexual abuse crisis through historical and ethnographical lenses.
